Questions families ask

Is Amy a real person?

No. Amy is an AI companion with a warm, natural voice. She never pretends to be a person, and if Mum asks, Amy will always tell her. We suggest you mention it when you tell Mum about the calls.

Can she stop?

Yes, at any time. She can tell Amy on a call, or either of you can email us, and the calls stop.

What if something’s wrong?

If Amy notices a change, the family gets an alert. Amy is not an emergency service and can’t send help. In an emergency, call 999.

Who sees the conversations?

You get updates, not transcripts. Full transcripts are not shared by default, and updates only go to the people Mum has agreed to.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. Cancel during the 14 free days and you won’t be charged.

Does Mum need a smartphone or an app?

No. Amy rings the phone Mum already has, landline or mobile. There’s nothing to install.

What happens on the first call?

Amy rings at the time you chose and starts with a friendly chat, using what you’ve told us about Mum’s interests and the people in her life. Please tell Mum beforehand so she knows to expect the call. If she’d rather not carry on, she can tell Amy or either of you can email us, and the calls stop.
